I contacted Jay and Twana in 2000 to provide photography services at my wedding. I was immediately impressed with their attention to detail and their relaxed natures. The day of the wedding they made everyone comfortable during the picture process. It was also wonderful how they let my family members take their own photographs once Jay finished. My family was also impressed and expressed their pleasure with Jay and Twana.
Since my wedding, my husband and I have had a child. I only trust my daughter's photographs to Jay and Twana. They always have amazing, new ideas. I love using props, including my dog, and they have great suggestions. We all know that children and pets are not always cooperative, but Jay and Twana remain patient and somehow keep a smile on everyone's face. Also, it is nice to have two people working together to capture the perfect picture. Twana works with the details and activities while Jay remains behind the camera to snap the photograph at the precise moment.
Jay and Twana are very professional, but not pretentious. They enjoy laughing and making the process very enjoyable. When they promise a date that you will receive your photographs, they follow through. They also have a wonderful eye for matting and framing their beautiful pictures.

We have been using Dunbar Photography on a regular basis for nine years. We first used Dunbar's when we were married in 1993 and then began going on a regular basis when we had our first child in 1995.
Twana and Jay are wonderful to work with to capture the perfect pictures.They are always great with both our kids, and they treat you like family. Our kids love to have Twana and Jay take their pictures.
The pictures that we had taken at our wedding look as good as the ones we just had taken in December 2004.

Dunbar Photography took our engagement & wedding pictures. We could not have been happier with the entire experience! I really cannot imagine having anyone else take our wedding portraits! Throughout the entire process, Jay and Twana were nothing but nice to not only us, but our entire family and wedding party. We were so pleased with their creativity and ability to zone in on what we really wanted. (Not to mention that they did everything with smiles on their faces !)
Five years later, I'm still extremely proud of the wedding portraits hanging in our home and always jump at the chance to get our album out and show it off as well !

Jay & Twana did our wedding and were absolutely the best choice for the job! Our entire experience, from beginning to end, was great! Jay & Twana were friendly, easy to work with, did everything possible to make our day even more special, took AMAZING pictures, and were extremely efficient in getting us our proofs, pictures, and our GORGEOUS album. We couldn't have asked for better service, better pictures, or a better overall experience. On a personal level, they worked with our schedules, listened to our requests, and made them happen. Personally we have two examples of their outstanding commitment to customer satisfaction. First was when, four days before we were to have our engagement pictures taken I, Amanda had to have emergency surgery. Jay & Twana were great about rescheduling the appointment and making me feel as comfortable as possible during the pictures. Second is that Eric and I wanted pictures that were unique to us....Jay & Twana suggested romantic outside pictures and Eric thought of pictures of us playing cards----they loved the idea, encouraged it, captured the fun we were having, gave us a chance to relax and spend some time together away from the craziness of the wedding, and gave us just what we were looking for....pictures that were us and unique!!! They are wonderful and amazing people who run an outstanding business and who have made us life-long customers!! I would, and do, recommend them to anyone and everyone! Jay & Twana's photos are not just photos but are a form of expressive art.
They are very imaginative in the way they create the settings for the photos.
Their ideas, when it comes to framing pictures is very unique. I have never seen any other photographer's work that is so creative.

Dunbar Photography has taken many pictures of our daughter,Ashli,throughout grade school and high school. So when she and her boyfriend, Paul, became engaged and were ready to set a wedding date, the first thing we did was call Dunbar Photography to see what dates they had available. Having them take her wedding pictures was so important to us, they worked their wedding date around Dunbar's schedule. After seeing all of the beautiful pictures they had taken, we knew no one else would do.
From the very first meeting with Jay and Twana, we knew everything would be perfect. They met with Ashli and Paul to find out more about them and any ideas they had for their wedding pictures. We also decided to do a video with pictures taken throughout the year prior to the wedding. Jay had many great ideas of what kind of pictures to put in the video to help show their personalities. They took pictures of them at the golf course, at the restaurant where Paul proposed, and they even took pictures at Busch Stadium (since they are big Cardinal fans). The Video turned out great and they had a wonderful time making it.
About six weeks before the wedding, Ashli and I went to Dunbar's Studio to take her pre-bridal portrait. Jay and Twana have been around me enough to know how crazy I am about pictures and this was such a special time for us to share. Ashli and I had such a wonderful time together that day. The portrait is just gorgeous. We displayed it at the reception and it is now hanging in our home.
The day of the wedding, Jay and Twana were the first ones at the church, ready to set up and start taking pre-wedding photos. They had made an agenda and we had told family and wedding party members what time they needed to arrive. Everything ran so smoothly, as different members arrived, those pictures were taken. I was able to relax (as much as you can when your only daughter is getting ready to be married) as I knew they had everything under control. Jay has such a good eye when it comes to setting up his shots, and Twana is such a perfectionist. She made sure Ashli's dress was perfect, ties were straight, hair was perfect, etc. During the ceremony, Jay continued to take pictures and he caught each moment just perfectly. After the wedding, they proceeded to the Appellate Courthouse where they took beautiful pictures of Ashli and Paul with their entire wedding party. These are some of our favorite pictures. Then everyone proceeded to the reception. Jay and Twana stayed throughout the evening and captured all of the special moments from cutting the cake, to the first dance, to the bouquet and garter toss. They also showed the picture video at the reception , it was a great hit with everyone. (Of course it made me cry).
We had so many people compliment us on the photographers. The wedding party, who had to be available for so many of the pictures, thought Twana and Jay were wonderful. They all had a great time with them.
Of course, the most important part of all is the finished project. One of the things we liked most about this was that we actually had pictures to look at. We didn't have to look at pictures on a computer or a computer generated page. We actually held pictures in our hands and looked at them. This was a really important factor to us. This is also the hardest part of all-deciding which pictures you want. There seriously was not a bad picture in the bunch. But of course that is a good problem to have. The package we purchased included a parents book, so we were able to pick out our own favorites for our book which turned out beautiful. Ashli and Paul's book turned out absolutely gorgeous. It is a beautiful leather book filled with all the special moments of their wedding day. Looking at it is like reliving the day. They are just so happy with it and they have had so many compliments on it.
Our experience with Dunbar Photography was just fantastic. By the time we were through, i felt like they were just part of our family. I would recommend their services to everyone. They just do beautiful work and I wouldn't trade our experience for anything......
